Our foundation together with a group of volunteers has started a new and very important charity project“Let the heart be healthy”. The aim of the project is to provide the intensive care unit of the Chernivtsi regional cardiology clinic with patient monitors, which can help trace the condition of patients and define the essential medicine list. Cardiovascular diseases are the main medical problem in Ukraine. According to the official statistics, 62% of Ukrainians die or become disabled as the result of cardiovascular diseases, it is the highest rate of mortality and disability. 50,000 cases of myocardial infarction, 120,000 cerebrovascular accidents and more than 3,500 congenital heart diseases are registered in Ukraine every year. Annually, 35,000 people require surgical interference of various gravity. In general, the mortality rate due to cardiovascular diseases in Ukraine is one of the highest in the world, while the number of cardiology clinics is 15 times lower than in the EU. Chernivtsi regional cardiology clinic cannot provide necessary treatment for those who need it. Moreover, it requires some serious modernization. For instance, 700 patients are treated in the intensive care unit of the Chernivtsi cardiology clinic annually, but there is only 1 patient monitor per 10 patients. A person can die just because the medical personnel failed to notice the decrease of vital signs in time. Unfortunately, the mortality among patients reaches 15%, which is mainly caused by the absence of the equipment suitable for diagnostics and treatment. Chernivtsi cardiology clinic is the crucial clinic for treatment of cardiovascular diseases in the region. At present it lacks a great number of patient monitors, which could allow doctors to observe patients who were brought to hospital in a critical condition and help prescribe the proper amount of medicine in time. Currently there is no prospect for obtaining the equipment using the budget funds and the patients cannot wait as they need the treatment immediately. That is why the charity foundation “Yukon” started to collect donations to purchase this absolutely essential equipment that can save many lives. Life is priceless. We are asking you to join this project, as any contribution can help save someone's life. All collected funds will be assigned for purchasing the equipment. The foundation does not use the collected funds to cover administrative expenditures.

"Happy childhood". Children - flowers of life. These expressions are perceived by us for granted as something that should be accepted by all without objection. Parents should strive to create a large and friendly family, and the state must take care and promote the people's desire to have many children. After all, people - the main wealth of the state. The state should work for people, not people - for the state.
Unfortunately, the system of state support to socially vulnerable layers of population of Ukraine has not provided a decent standard of living of large families. Most parents in large families can not afford their children those things (clothes, toys, gifts, food, summer vacation) which other have. But the current economic and political troubles of Ukraine are not children's fault. Their childhood should be happy! That's why we want to help families who have the most precious treasure - the children, but have no funds for their proper maintenance.
One of the points of the charitable program of "Yukon" foundation is to promote the protection of motherhood and childhood, helping large families who are in need. To fulfil this "Yukon" foundation starts a new project — the assistance to needy families with many children, which we called "The Future Is In Our Hands." The way we bring children up, will they become worthy members of society, depends the future of the whole Ukraine. A normal children upbringing can not be without adequate basic standard of living. We will try to improve the living conditions of children and their parents providing material support for large families. To carry out this project, we encourage for cooperation charity organizations, and government officials, and ordinary citizens who care what we leave behind, what will the country be after us.

All people who take an active part in the activities of "Yukon" Foundatiion are brought up patriots at the example of older generations and, of course, they could not leave out the problems faced by the elderly, war veterans and labour veterans. To aid this honourable part of society we initiate a new project promoting veterans movement, which we called "Remember the past, think about the future". The Foundation established close connections with the Chernivtsi Regional Council of Veterans. We never refuse to help when the Board of Veterans appeals to the Foundation. When the idea of a veterans library appeared - we decided to provide assistance to veterans permanently. Users of the library became veterans and the elderly people. In many Ukrainian families there are books that have no value for owners. These are books of Soviet realism, historical books about the October Revolution, Civil War, Great Patriotic War etc. First of all these books are interesting to the veterans and the elderly people. It also provides an opportunity with the help of books and by veteran organizations to conduct actions of patriotic education of youth and adolescence. The communication between generations starts. After reading the book of patriotic direction it is possible to conduct meeting of veterans with young people, where to compare real events (witnesses of which veterans were) with the described ones in books.
